Israeli forces fired teargas canisters at Palestinians cultivating olive crops in the north of the West Bank on Saturday according to local sources.
Sources claimed that soldiers used teargas on the harvesters, which included landowners and volunteers from Al-Quds Open University, while they picked olives on Zabouba village area, west of Jenin in the northern West Bank, to force them to leave the farms near the apartheid and separation wall.
Teargas inhalation was treated by several people.
During the yearly olive harvest season, Palestinians who rely on it for their livelihood are continuously attacked by soldiers and settlers.
