Abdullah Noah Abu Jaber, 44, a Jordanian detainee in Israeli jails, is set to be released today after serving 20 years in Israeli prison, according to the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS).
During his time in prison, Abu Jaber, from al-Baqaa Camp, lost his mother, father, and sister. During the two decades, his family was only able to see him twice.
During his detention, Abu Jaber went on many hunger strikes, the most notable of which was a 70-day hunger strike that began in late 2015 and ended in early 2016.
Abu Jaber is one of 22 Jordanians jailed by Israeli occupation authorities for participating in anti-occupation resistance activities.
