Spokesman of the Democratic Reformists within Fatah Movement (DRFM) Dimitri Diliani said in an official press statement that the (DRFM) follows the simultaneous announcements of reaching a normalization agreement between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the state of the Israeli occupation, under the American auspices.
“The DRFM renews its firm position, which had been repeatedly and clearly announced that all Arab countries should abide by the Arab peace initiative issued by the Beirut Arab Summit in 2002,” Diliani said.
He stressed that DRFM emphasizes its commitment to our national constants.
“We stress that the relationships with the state of occupation would be useless unless it complies with the will of international legitimacy of implementing the two-state solution, end the occupation, and enable our people to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.”
Diliani also reiterated that the Palestinians should accelerate ending the internal division and reform Palestinian politics' imbalances.
He called for refraining from returning to security coordination with the occupation and immediately withdraws Israel's recognition.
“These are the simplest elements for rebuilding an effective Palestinian and Arab position,” Diliani said.
