Palestinian teen is shot dead by Israeli forces
Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian teenager and injured seven others this morning, during clashes with demonstrators in the occupied northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Occupation soldiers broke into Jenin to demolish the family home of Palestinian detainee Ahmad Qumba when intense clashes broke out between the soldiers and Palestinians, according to official agency.
Yazan Abu Tabikh, 19, was killed and seven others were injured when the Israeli soldiers opened fire at protesters during the clashes.
This is the second time the army demolishes the Qumba house. The first time was after the arrest of Ahmad on charges of taking part in the killing of a settler near Nablus early 2018. The family later rebuilt the house, which was turned into rubble once again this morning as part of Israel’s collective punishment policy against Palestinians under its military occupation.
Local sources said that general strike was call for in Jenin today to protest the killing of Abu Tabikh and the demolition of the house.
