The Israeli occupation forces suddenly allowed Palestinians to pray in the Ibrahimi mosque after being closed for two because of the Jewish holidays, Hafzy Abu Snaina, the chief of the Ibrahimi mosque said.

Abu Snaina declared that the Israeli occupation forces contacted on Monday evening the Ministry of Awqaf to inform them of allowing the Palestinian Muslims to pray in the Ibrahimi mosque after imposing a complete closure on it.

He also denounced the Israeli decisions of closing the Ibrahimi mosque and preventing the Palestinian Muslims from praying inside the mosque. He added that the Israeli occupation is following an exasperating policy that implicates malicious intentions to annex all parts of the Ibrahimi mosque.

This policy is an attempt to Judaize the mosque and it violates freedom of religion.
