A group of Palestinian girls from the West Bank accomplished a project that uses cinematography in order to raise people awareness of gender issues including the barriers facing girls to practice sport and underage girls dropping out of school to get married.

This project was launched in August 2018 and focused on state secondary schools in the marginalized areas in the occupied West Bank and targeted 11 schools.

Another part of the project is underway in nine schools in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The project was entitled "Local Communities Spearhead Defending Women and Girls' Rights By Using Audiovisual Production".
