Gaza Post – Gaza
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that he would take military action against the Gaza Strip if southern Israel's situations didn't return calm, an Israeli newspaper reported.
Times of Israel newspaper reported the Israeli PM stating that Israel was hoping for calm to return to the region, however, he ordered Israeli armed forces to prepare for any possible military operation against Gaza.
"The policy is clear. We want to bring back calmness, at the same time, we are preparing for any possible large-scale action," Benjamin Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu's remarks came following a security cabinet meeting that was held to discuss the security situations with Gaza along with other issues affecting the region, according to the Israeli newspaper.
