Palestinian Prisoner Enters his 17th year of imprisonment in Israeli jails

A Palestinian prisoner entered his seventeenth year of imprisonment inside Israeli jails, according to the Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS).

The Palestinian Prisoners' Society reported that Palestinian prisoner Safi Bassam Houshiya eneterd his 17th year of imprisonment in Israeli detention centers.

Safi Houshi, aged 35 years old, is from al-Yamoun area southern the occupied West Bank district of Jenin, reported the PPS.

The prisoner spent long years of solitary confinement inside Israeli jails and was deprived of his family's visits to him.

He was also deprived of bidding farewell to his late father who passed away about one month ago.
