The most important topics in the weekly PCHR Israeli violations report:

 

Great Return Marches

Including the 63rd  Friday of the peaceful March of Return and Breaking Siege protests, Israeli occupation forces wounded 124 Palestinian demonstrators, including 28 children, 3 women and a paramedic in the period from June 20 to 26 while participating in peaceful protests organized within the activities during the protests, according to Palestinian Center For Human Rights (PCHR).

 

Palestinian Fishermen in Gaza

The weekly report on Israeli violations in Palestine, PCHR reported that Israeli forces continued their attacks against Palestinian fishermen. The center documented 5 incidents.

According to Emad Aldeen Mansour, a Palestinian fisherman, his fishing boat sustained damage in addition to other’s fishermen boats. Emad said that his fishing nets cost around NIS 5,500.

Meanwhile, three fishermen were detained including a child.

 

Israeli incursions

The report said that Israeli forces operated at least 68 military incursions in the West Bank while conducting into three other places in Jerusalem.

During the incursions, Israeli forces detained 62 Palestinians including:

  • 9 children.
  • A journalist.
  • A woman.

From West Bank and Jerusalem.

 

Settlement activities

  • On June 22, a group of Israeli settlers from “Ariel” settlement attacked Palestinian civilians while leveling their agricultural lands located in Salfit. Settlers anticipated building a settlement road in order to expand settlement housing units.

 

  • Meantime, Israeli forces raised on June 24, a 40 square meter residential tent build of  sheds and iron pipes in Mofaqara village, east of Yatta  south of Hebron, owned by Qasem Mohammad Hamamrah (40).

Qasem lived in the tent with his wife and 5 children.

  • June 23, dozens of Israeli settlers  leveled 300 dunums of agricultural land in Khelet AlNahla area in Wad Rahhal village south of Bethlehem , in order to place mobile houses and a settlement which isolates Bethlehem  from its southern countryside and southern West Bank.

 

House demolitions

  • Thursday 20 June 2019, Israeli forces broke into Wadi al-Humus neighborhood south of occupied East Jerusalem and handed dozens of notices to make Palestinian civilians demolish their houses before 18 July 2019. This action came after the Israeli Supreme Court approved an Israeli forces decision to demolish 16 residential buildings owned by Palestinians, comprising of over than 100 houses.
  • On Wednesday, 26 June 2019, Israeli forces demolished an under construction gas station in A’nata village northeast of East Jerusalem.
