Gaza Post- Kuwait
The Kuwaiti National Council has unanimously called in its public session today to boycott the Bahrain conference that is going to be held on Tuesday.
"Kuwait has been always supporting Palestine. And normalization with Israel has always contradicted its constants," said Marzouq al-Ghanim, spokesperson of the Council.
Al-Ghanim said in his statement, "We call on the government to take a firm and decisive position to boycott the conference that is going to be held in the Bahraini capital."
"The conference wastes the Islamic and the Arab rights to have Palestine as one of Muslims and Arabs lands," added the statement.
Al-Ghanim has stressed the stands of Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry which are in line with the Kuwaiti Emir's policy of standing up to international legitimacy and the Palestinian rights.
