A Palestinian couple received their Ph.D. degrees in management from Limkokwing University for Creative Technology.
The couple vowed at the graduation ceremony to improve the living of the residents of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Ahmed Awaja and his wife Doaa Awaja, both are aged 33 were among 1000 graduates from more than 50 countries who received their Ph.D. degree at the ceremony graced by Tengku Arif Temenggong Pahang.
"We intend to share the knowledge we gained to improve the lives of our beloved people in Gaza," the couple told reporters after receiving their certificates.
They added that the PhDs will enable them to speak out, find solutions and debate on the situations taking place in Gaza.
Ahmed who is working as deputy dean of Arab College of Applied Sciences in Rafah said that he hopes that conditions in Gaza would improve someday and will use his knowledge for the development of Gaza.
The couple thanks Limkokwing University for contributing to improving their skills and abilities.
"The university succeeded to gather students from all over the world and from different religious backgrounds under one roof." The couple happily added.
