A simple Dream and a bullet in the heart

His dream was simple… Performing the last Friday prayers in the Al-Aqsa mosque, Abdullah Gayth the 16 years old Palestinian child was shot in his heart and martyred on Friday, May 31, 2019 by Israeli occupation fire.
His family, alike other Palestinian families, was heading to al-Aqsa to perform the last Friday of the holy month Ramadan not knowing what is sadly waiting for them.
According to a family member stating to local media stations, the family arrived Abu Hums area at 9 o’clock in the morning. It didn’t last ten minutes before Abdullah was shot in his chest by Israeli forces while he desperately tried to run away but unfortunately fell dead at the moment.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli soldier who shot him screamed happily, “ I shot him. I shot him.”!
Abdullah’s father told news stations that his son has been preparing himself since last night to visit the al-Aqsa mosque. He with sorrow is wondering why was his son shot and killed in cold blood without any mercy.
“ It’s going to be the hardest times of my life when I go back home and not find him there”, he said.
Noteworthy, Israeli occupation forces have been launching a detaining campaign since early morning today, while several Palestinians were wounded during heading to Jerusalem.
