Israeli armed forces arrested 905 Palestinians, including 133 children and 23 women, in March and April, according to a joint report issued by the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Commission, PPS, Prisoners Support, and Human Rights Association.
According to the report, Israeli authorities continue to hold about 250 minors in their detention centers.
Some 500 Palestinians are currently being held as "administrative detainees" without charge or court trial, in which they are held for six-month periods.
Administrative detention's policy was first imposed during the British Mandate in Palestine from 1923 to 1948 by the British.
