Qatar has announced that it will send $ 480m to Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank after a truce made with Israeli that ended the deadliest clashes between Israel and Palestinian factions since the 2014 Israeli aggression on Gaza. According to Al Jazeera Channel. 

Qatar Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that $300m would support health and education programs of Palestinian Authority (PA) in the West Bank.

 

Meanwhile, $180 m would go for "urgent humanitarian relief" in United Nations programmes and towards electricity. According to the statement. 

The latest three-day Israeli escalation on the Gaza Strip has led to the deaths of 25 Palestinians and the injuries of 180 others. According to Gaza Ministry of Health.

A ceasefire was reached early on Monday, and no Israeli air attacks on the strip have been reported since the deal came into force. 

Spokesperson of Hamas movement in Gaza, Hazem Qassem, said in a recent press release that Egyptian mediators, along with officials from Qatar and the UN, helped reach the ceasefire deal.
