Sources: Israeli soldiers shoot dead Palestinian youth at Damascus Gate
The Israeli occupation this evening Saturday shot dead a Palestinian youth, in occupied Jerusalem, claiming that he stabbed an Israeli settler and seriously wounded him, sources reported.
Source said that members of the occupation forces shot a Palestinian young man in the Damascus Gate area and prevented people from reaching him.
In the other side, the Israeli occupation radio reported that the Palestinian “stabbed” an Israeli settler in Damascus Gate before being shot by the occupation.
Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that the settler's injury was "moderate and serious." Indicated that it is in the upper part of the body.
Local sources said that after this accident the occupation forces closed all the doors of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City of Jerusalem, coinciding with the outbreak of clashes in the place.
Sources said that the occupation police fired teargas and sound bombs at the Palestinians and beat them at Bab Al-Sahira.
