The Israeli occupation is concerned that Hezbollah may be able to deliver weapons into the 'Israeli'-occupied territories via the Lebanese border, in order to arm Palestinians from the 1948 lands with "high quality" weapons that they can use in the event of a future 'Israeli' war against them according to a report from 'Israeli' Channel 12.

Since the beginning of 2021, the occupation claim to have stopped and captured 140 handguns and 20 assault rifles at the Lebanese border, but they believe Hezbollah has successfully delivered countless more weapons to the depths of the occupied territories.

According to sources, the allegedly smuggled weapons pose a "strategic threat" to the Israeli entity.
