Sources: IOF arrests six Palestinians from West Bank
Israeli forces arrested six Palestinians overnight on Wednesday from various parts of the West Bank according to local and security sources.
They claimed that Israeli troops arrested a Palestinian after raiding his family's home in the Jalazone refugee camp, located north of Ramallah.
Dozens of Israeli soldiers in a minibus stormed the Shuafat refugee camp in East Jerusalem and kidnapped four people.
Nearly every day, Israeli forces conduct raids on Palestinian homes in the West Bank looking for "wanted" Palestinians, resulting in clashes with local residents.
These raids, which occur even in areas under the full control of the Palestinian Authority, are carried out without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses to use its broad arbitrary powers.
Isreali military law grants military chiefs unrestricted power over 3 million Palestinians in the West Bank. Neither Israel nor the Palestinians have any say in how this power is used.
