Hundreds of Palestinians mark 52 anniversary of Al Aqsa Mosque burning in Gaza
Hundreds of Palestinians gathered on Saturday close to the borderline area between eastern Gaza city and Israeli occupation to mark the 52 anniversary of burning al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem, eyewitnesses said.
They said that gathering at the area was upon the call of the Palestinian factions, including Hamas movement, adding that the masses of participants waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans against Israel.
The eyewitnesses also said that dozens of protesters burned tires and approached the fence of the borders. They threw stones at the soldiers, who fired teargas and rubber bullets to disperse the demonstrators, no injuries were reported.
