The Egyptian government is hosting separate delegations from Israel and Hamas according to local sources.

Senior members of Hamas' military wing, the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, have landed in Cairo to meet with Egyptian intelligence officials over a possible prisoner swap with Israel according to palestinian news.

The Israeli security group, which includes POW and Missing Persons Coordinator Yaron Blum and NCO senior Nimrod Gaz, is also in Cairo at the same time.
According to sources, Egypt will hold separate meetings between the two feuding parties to discuss a prisoner exchange following the ceasefire imposed following the most recent 11-day escalation between Israel and allies in May.
