Resolution 2334 on Israeli settlements
The Permanent Representative of Palestine to the United Nations, Ambassador Riyad Mansour, stated on Satrday that the UN Security Council will meet next Thursday to review the implementation of Resolution 2334 on Israeli settlements.
According to Sources, the discussion would focus on current Israeli abuses on the ground, such as home demolitions and the confiscation of land.
According to Mansour, the conference is part of the State of Palestine's diplomatic efforts to create a durable truce in Gaza and provide international protection to our people.
Meanwhile, he added the Council of Arab Ambassadors will convene next Monday to put into action the decisions reached at the last Council of Arab Foreign Ministers conference in Qatar.
Mansour added that another virtual meeting will be held next Monday for the countries of the Non-Aligned Movement, whose final communique will call for an end of the occupation measures in occupied Jerusalem, and will follow up on the effects of the recent aggression on the Gaza Strip.
