Eid Al-Fitr prayer at Al-Aqsa
About 100,000 worshipers performed on Thursday Eid al-Fitr prayers in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque ,despite the strict restrictions imposed by Israeli occupation forces to prevent thousands of our people from reaching the occupied city of Jerusalem, and praying in its courtyards .
Jerusalem sources stated that the worshipers came from the city of Jerusalem and its neighbourhood , from Palestinian towns within the lands of 1948 ,and a small number of our people in the West Bank, due to the requirement to enter only the elderly."
Handerds of Jerusalemites held Eid prayers at the entrances to the Old City, after they were removed from the Al-Aqsa Mosque by order of the occupation authorities, and most of them were activists who were stationed in it.
The takbeers of the Eid marked the beginning of the Eid al-Fitr day, amid large crowds of worshipers, coinciding with marches and chants condemning the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Besides, the Sheikh Muhammad Salim, said, "Our people will show their joy at Eid despite all the suffering they are subjected to, and they will follow the path of the beautiful Sunnahs of our Prophet Muhammad, may blessings and peace be upon him, on the day of Eid."
It is worth noting that the worshipers performed the absentee prayer for the souls of the martyrs of Palestine who ascended in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and the lands of the year 48.
