Cristiano Ronaldo will miss Juventus' crucial match against Atalanta due to a muscle injury, which Andrea Pirlo does not want to aggravate further.
Ronaldo's absence from the game is a recent phenomenon, as no news outlet has reported that the Portuguese striker is suffering from a muscular problem.
Juve manager Pirlo, on the other hand, announced that Ronaldo is out of the game.
"Ronaldo will not play in the match. He hasn't fully recovered from a hamstring injury, and playing him tomorrow would have put him at risk of serious injury "Pirlo said this during his pre-game press conference.
"He hasn't been able to rebound due to air travel, late matches, and the accumulation of several matches. We decided to give him some time to rest and expect to have him back by Wednesday."
Pirlo has also stated that Paulo Dybala will start against Atalanta from the start. Dybala has missed the bulk of the season due to injury, appearing in just 18 games in all competitions.
Pirlo is expected to use the same defensive back line that he used in the 3-1 victory over Genoa last weekend.
In defense, Juan Cuadrado, Giorgio Chiellini, Matthijs de Ligt, and Danilo will all start.
With the notable exception of Dejan Kulusevski, Pirlo is supposed to retain the majority of his midfielders. Weston McKennie, an American, will take the role of the Swede.
Federico Chiesa, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Adrien Rabiot will follow him.
Dybala will partner Alvaro Morata in attack for the Bianconeri now that Ronaldo's absence has been verified.
