IOF stops construction of Palestinian houses' in Nablus
Israeli occupation authorities stated on Tuesday that the building of three houses in Zawata village northwest of Nablus city, have to be halted according to the Israeli official.
Israeli forces raided the northwestern part of the village, where they posted notices demanding a halt to the building of three homes, including two that were nearing completion, according to Hafeth ‘Elwi, the head of Zawata Village Council.
Israel bans almost all Palestinian building in Area C, which makes up 60% of the occupied West Bank and is completely under Israeli military control, forcing citizens to build without securing the rare permits they need to provide shelter for their families.
In the other hand, Israel issues building permits to over 700,000 Jewish Israeli settlers and provides them with roads, electricity, water, and sewage systems that are impossible to many Palestinians in the region.
