Israel Deside to Give Some Covid-19 Doses for Palestinian Healthcare Workers
Office of Israel Defense Minister Benny Gantz says Israel has agreed to pass to Palestinians 5,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine to immunize front-line medical staff.
It is the first time the transfer of vaccines to the Palestinians has been verified by Israel.
Israel has come under U.N. critique. Officials and human rights advocates for not supplying the Palestinians with vaccinations. Israel says that it is not accountable.
Since striking procurement agreements with multinational drug companies Pfizer and Moderna, Israel is one of the global leaders in vaccinating its population.
The Palestinian people have not started vaccinating their people yet.
