The regime's media outlets in Syria announced that the air defenses responded at dawn today, Friday, to what they described as an Israeli aggression against targets in Hama Governorate without identifying them, and it also did not mention anything about injuries or damages.
The official media quoted a military source as saying, "At about 4:00 a.m, the Israeli enemy launched an air assault with bursts of rockets from the direction of the Lebanese city of Tripoli, targeting some targets in the vicinity of Hama Governorate."
The military source added that the air defense media confronted the enemy missiles and dropped most of them.
For years, Israel has launched hundreds of raids on sites of the Syrian regime forces and military bases belonging to Iran and its militias, and Tel Aviv says it wants to prevent Tehran from establishing its military presence in Syria.
