Crews belonging to the Israeli occupation authorities destroyed on Monday evening the memorial of the martyr Majdi al-Maslamani, in Wadi al-Dam neighborhood of Beit Hanina town in occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that the occupation crews raided the place, destroyed and removed the monument, which was built many years ago to commemorate the martyr.

Al-Maslamani was martyred with the outbreak of the second intifada, on the sixth of October 2000, at Bab al-Asbat area in occupied Jerusalem, after he was hit by a bullet from a distance of zero.

Meanwhile, the Organizing Committee in Beit Hanina and Shuafat regions condemned the targeting of the memorial, and the oppression of the occupation and its attacks on Jerusalemites and their properties.
