The Israeli occupation authorities released on Thuresday the prisoner, novelist and writer Hassan Al-Fattafta from the town of Tarqumiya, west of Hebron, after spending 18 years in the occupation prisons.
The prisoner's family stated, during statements to local media, that the 60-year-old prisoner, Fattafta, was arrested in 2003 and released from Ofer camp, located on the lands west of Ramallah.
It is worth noting that the prisoner Al-Fattafta is the author of "Autumn of Waiting" novel that he wrote during his detention. The novel was published as the third edition of the series "Prison Literature" issued by the Palestinian Ministry of Culture.
